About Us
I would like to start by thanking you for spending time looking at our
website & our extended family.  I would like to tell you about how we
got here & I am sure that some of you will be able to relate.

I went to college knowing that I wanted to be a Med Tech student, but
the grants went the other way so I went into teaching. I taught school
for 9 years with my favorite subject being Advanced Placement Biology
where I could work in genetics.

I tried breeding 12 years ago for the first time and WOW!!! The
excitement, the possibilities of color, the relationships I felt with my
dogs, the cute little baby faces, and the CHALLENGE it made me feel. I
was hooked. An addiction worse than drugs, or gambling, breeding
dachshunds.

I explained to my husband that I was not hurting my health & it gave
me so much pleasure, so we started collecting dachshunds. I can't
explain the feeling any further except to say that if you get this
addiction, call me & we might let you join our support group of
dachshund lovers that have 20 or more. (haha)

We started growing the dachshund colors in the best quality we could
find. We are now proud to offer English Imports & Isabella and tan as
well as the blues & cremes. We also have all the markings. We offer
piebald, dapple, & brindle.

We occasionally have a double dapple   but I do not breed for doubles
because I do not like the health risk for the puppies. All of our
dachshund puppies are born in our home with our family and well
socialized with our three children.

The dachshunds are part of our family and we carry as many as 10
every where that we go.

Each dog is an individual with its own personality & identity that
contribute to the variety of our extended family.

All dogs are AKC registered & English Imports JKC, AKU, & AKC
Registered.

I had many experiences in buying my dogs. Some good & some very
bad. I tried to set up policies that would establish breeding ethics to be
different & better than some of the experiences that I had. All puppies
come with a health guarantee that the puppies will be free of birth
defects & be current on wormings & shots  that are needed for the age
of the dog you purchase.

My goal in breeding is to have healthy beautiful puppies that I can
place in homes with a healthy environment for the family of the puppy.

I would like for the experience that you have in getting a new member
of your family to be a good one.

made as a result to my animal family.
